Never keep a full and openend bottle of water on your desk. No matter how long you’ve been doing it and how careful you are, sooner or later you are going to knock it over. That’s what just happened here. Given the amount of electronic stuff on my desk it was an amazin feat of luck that hardly anything was affected. The Ac-Adapter, 2 phones, a wifi-card were just out of reach. The worst is, that my notebook got a little splash from the falling over of the bottle and it was making buzzung noises. :-/ I turned it off and letting it dry now. Luckily I stacked something underneath it so it wouldn’t get as hot as it did – that’s what kept the water from running straight into it. Anything else that got hurt was mostly paperstuff which soaked most of it up, and the rest went on the carpet.

So let me repeat that one more time for you: Never keep a full and openend bottle of water on your desk. Seriously.
