• Windows Services for UNIX (SFU) # (filed under Tools-and-SW)

  This might be a Cygwin Alternative if you are running WinXP Pro, Server or 2000 (doesn’t wirk with XP Home, Win98 etc.). A lot of the interesting parts of it are from the GNU and/or OpenBSD project. Instead of as an emulation layer (like Cygwin), it is running native (which is better for performance, security etc.).
