If you are giving SFU a try, you should bookmark this page. A lot of the regularly used stuff is missing in the base SFU install (like bash, openssh, rsync, lynx, pkg, an up-to-date grep, etc.), but on the linked page, they are available as very easy to install binary-distributions with pkg_add (which itself can be installed by running a single executable). It’s not as nice as the Cygwin-install-utility, but it comes close. Read more about how to easily install the binary-packages
