The Monterey Bay Aquarium is really great and certainly a worthy place to visit, if you are in California. Besides the tropical fish, they hava a lot of deep-sea stuff like (an amazing variety of) Jellyfish, and huge tanks for larger animals, like 300 pound tunas, sharks, otters, penguins etc. Some of that you can also view live on the webcams. And for a lot of the exhibits, you can find nice pictures of the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Flickr. But the pictures don’t even come close to the actual experience.
